Kids Club
Learning to play golf at De Goese Golf is cool and fun! If you learn golf at a young age, it will benefit you for the rest of your life.
Does your child want to play golf, but you have no idea whether it suits him or her? We are happy to help you on your way with four simple tips. Golf is fun, even for children. Especially if they can do it together with peers.
You probably know these prejudices (or maybe you secretly have them too?): ‘Golf is expensive and an elite sport’ or ‘for old people, so it’s boring’. But what if your child comes home very enthusiastic with the words: “Mommy, daddy, I want to go golfing!”
That is no longer the case! More and more children are taking up golf and love it. You are outside, together with peers and you are physically and mentally busy. You can play golf alone or together, but also as a team against other teams. Just go give it a try. There is a chance that you can practice a great sport for a lifetime.
The Goese Golf Kids Club
We want to be an attractive club for both performance-oriented and recreational golfers in all age groups. We think it is important that young people can feel at home and from this feeling can develop with great pleasure in golf to the highest level they can achieve.

EASTER EGG HUNT
Sunday April 20
In recent years it has grown into an annual event in which more than 100 children participate, completely free of charge. There is always a prize at the largest Easter egg hunt in Zeeland, for kids up to 10 years old.
KINGS CUP
Sunday April 27
Swing like a King (or queen) is only possible with a beautiful crown on your head. That is why we are going to make these together for the lesson at De Goese Golf.
Afterwards, we will putt together in our most beautiful orange outfit and with our homemade crown and we will play a game on the putting green. Do you want to participate, but without a crown or just make a crown? No problem!
Mother's Day
Sunday May 11
Attention all mothers......today our golf teacher will not be teaching the kids, but all mothers. Other activities are planned for the kids under the guidance of our youth coaches and helpful parents.
Afterwards we will have a drink together in the restaurant. Of course we will give you a nice gift voucher to give to your mother on Mother's Day!
BRING A FRIEND
Sunday June 8
Today is the day you have been waiting for for a while. On this day you can bring your boyfriend or girlfriend to show them how cool it is at De Goese Golf.
Together we organize fun games on the Par-3 course and on the TrackMan Range. We bet your friends will say afterwards that they thought it was absolutely fantastic!
Father's Day
Sunday June 15
What makes Dad most happy? A wonderful round of golf in peace and quiet with an ice-cold beer on tap afterwards. Just catching up and not having to look at the clock. The kids at Kids Club play a 9-hole round of golf for free.
Hand in the voucher you received for your father after the golf lesson and surprise your dad with 9 holes.
CRAFTS MORNING
Sunday July 29
No golf for a while.....for you then. Because now your parents can play 9 holes together on the big course or on the Par 3 course while you are tinkering with our youth coach Joop.
The great thing about this day is that we offer golf for the parents. This means getting up early because you can start until 9:30 am.
Q-PARTY
Sunday July 6
Have you obtained your job permit and passed your theory exam? Then it is now time to run your first Qualifying card to achieve your handicap 54.
This is of course possible when you walk on the course with another golfer, but during a Q-Party we do it in groups.

The De Goese Golf family tournament will also take place in 2025. In pairs of one parent and one child, they compete on the Par-3 course. If your mom or dad doesn't play golf, but grandpa or grandma does, that is of course allowed too.
We end the evening on the terrace with a delicious plate of food.

Play golf in your scariest outfit! During Halloween it can be spooky at De Goese Golf. Do you dare to play golf with us in your scariest outfit?

Glow in The Dark
Saturday November 15
Have you always wanted to play golf with light-up balls in the evenings? Then this is your chance to take part in a very fun evening.
Of course we end the evening with something delicious to drink and the parents can also play along with Glow in The Dark.
Learn to play golf through play in groups under supervision.
At De Goese Golf, children from about 6 years old can learn to play golf in a playful way. This program consists of group lessons, 10 lessons before the summer holidays and 10 lessons after the summer holidays, as well as activities. Golf often plays the leading role in these activities, but we also do other fun things such as crafts, making gingerbread cookies and much more.
The lessons are given by our PGA professional Rinus van Blankers and he receives the help of two youth coaches with activities and events.

Kids Club Junior Golfset
Questions are often asked how expensive golf actually is for children and what is needed to get started. If you start horse riding you do not have to buy a horse, but you can also take care of a horse. In golf there are also often materials to borrow or rent. Children grow like crazy, but don’t buy clubs based on their growth. Adapt the material to the child and not the other way around. Children grow quickly and if you always have to buy a custom golf set, that can add up to quite a few cents. That’s why we have a redemption program for the Kids Club.

JLF & De Goese Golf
The Goese Golf and the Joost Luiten Foundation are joining forces. In 2025, De Goese Golf will enter into a partnership with the Joost Luiten Foundation. The aim of the foundation of the Netherlands’ most successful golfer is to enable children who are at a distance from golf to play golf (more often). This distance from golf can be physical, mental and/or material. To this end, the foundation initiates projects that contribute to this objective, or participates in other initiatives.
Together with the foundation, De Goese Golf in the province of Zeeland wants to give children the opportunity to become acquainted with golf in a fun, accessible way. There are currently several discussions with the municipality’s policy officers, youth workers and neighborhood sports coaches to see how we can use the projects as best as possible and thus reach a large group of children. The intention is to have a program for 2025.
“My Foundation wants to introduce as many children as possible to golf, so that they can form their own opinion about the game. We welcome any initiative that makes this possible. It’s great that De Goese Golf wants to support our plans,” says Joost Luiten. Golf offers young people a fantastic opportunity to enjoy sports in nature. More exercise contributes to better physical and mental health. De Goese Golf is happy to offer young people in the province of Zeeland the opportunity to become acquainted with this sport and is happy with a partner such as the Joost Luiten Foundation.
